New Release: Valuemation 4.2 and its Highlights

With its software and consulting service portfolio USU AG has been focusing for years on the competence topic of knowledge-based service management at the interface between business and IT. The development of Valuemation 4 was greatly influenced by experiences gained in current customer projects as well as the specific requirements of our long-standing users. The new software release of Valuemation 4.2 has a number of new key features and enhanced functions to support users in a targeted manner in their IT service management applications. These include the following:

• The new Valuemation Release Manager supports the user from release planning and creation to release for productive operation. This way Valuemation 4.2 covers another central ITIL® process.
• New detailed dashboards that, for example, show views of individual planning states, in addition to quality assurance dashboards considerably expand the service reporting options.
• New welcome pages for central roles, such as Service Portfolio Manager, Planning & Calculation Manager and Service Level Manager, provide specific information and applications as early as on entry to the system.
• The newly integrated solution provided by the baramundi Management Suite grants comprehensive support of the centrally controlled and automated software distribution and rollout process.
• The new Data Quality Manager enables the requisite data quality to be specified on the basis of defined KPIs, the quality to be monitored and automatic notification to be given once specified limits have been exceeded.
• The new Business Process Modeler offers graphical support for process modeling. The solution conforms with the international standard notation BPMN 2.0.
• Valuemation 4.2 now also supports Problem Management with a standard process based on ITIL v3, while continuing to support management based on ITIL v2.
