S+T AG controls IT service management with USU Valuemation

The Austrian IT technology group S&T AG uses USU's Valuemation software to flexibly manage its wide range of IT services. This software manages all technical and commercial IT service data and thus represents the ERP system for IT. Valuemation thus replaces a number of heterogeneously distributed island solutions at S&T.

"Professional IT service management is the backbone of our business model. As an internationally operating service provider, we place high demands on the agility and quality of our IT services. The established software solution and USU's consulting expertise convinced us right from the start. Added to this was the service readiness and flexibility of a medium-sized European partner," says Hannes Föttinger, responsible for IT service management at S&T, explaining the decision to select USU.

Within a few months, the service operation processes, i.e. all measures for the provision and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, were implemented and went live in October 2017. Numerous interfaces to other applications - including the ZIS System monitoring software from USU subsidiary LeuTek - ensure smooth data transfer. The integrated Analytics module is responsible for the comprehensive analysis, monitoring and optimization of S&T's IT services.

The Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and the knowledge database are currently being implemented. In a further step, it is planned to implement Service Level Management and IT Financial Management. In the medium term, the USU system should also support all service orders for technical customer service (field service). Valuemation's high flexibility and adaptability will help S&T specialists to adapt the solution independently to their individual requirements.
