With its expertise in the fields of communications, logistics, passenger transportation and financial services, Die Schweizerische Post develops innovative system solutions and modular products and services. To that end, the IT unit uses the USU Valuemation suite to provide comprehensive support services within the Post Group, realize efficient IT management and thereby ensure highly capable and reliable IT services.
Among other things, the project report describes how the company replaced its previous HP Service Desk software with a new, Group-wide USU solution for IT service management. It was a particular challenge to set up and expand the service level management in a very complex service structure with approx. 5,000 services and some 400 SLAs.
